Fastrax today announced the iTrax300, the latest addition to the company’s industry-leading range of OEM GPS receivers.
The iTrax300 is the first Fastrax product based on the ultra-sensitive SiRFstarIII GSC3 and GSC3-LP chipsets. Makayama Interactive today introduces Media Studio for TomTom® 1.0. With this innovative software, consumers can turn their TomTom GO navigation system into a media and movie playback device. DVDs, recorded TV-series or any other video can be put on the TomTom using only three clicks, and can be watched on the LCD screen, with excellent sound. The software is a bundle of media conversion software and video player and is the first such product worldwide that allows media content to be converted and played back on the TomTom devices.

Today Garmin announced the StreetPilot 2820, a new automotive and motorcycle navigation device with Bluetooth wireless connectivity, a hands-free calling interface and map data provided by NAVTEQ
The Bluetooth wireless technology makes it possible for automotive and motorcycle consumers to take advantage of hands-free calling with a full user interface. Customers may retrieve and dial numbers using their phone’s contact list or from the phone’s call history log. A user can also make calls from the StreetPilot 2820’s huge points of interest database that includes hotels, restaurants, stores, and much more.
TORQ N100 PDA with GPS on board
Soundsolution announced TORQ N100 the first PDA phone with an onboard receiver allowing it to support Traffic Message Channel (TMC) functions in available countries when using popular GPS applications.
