Vodafone K.K. announced that it will commence sales of the Vodafone 903T 3G handset by Toshiba, the world’s first mobile handset capable of network-assisted GPS navigation both in Japan and abroad, on 15 October 2005 in the Kanto-Koshin region, with a nationwide rollout on 21 October.
To coincide with the sale of the 903T, Vodafone K.K. will also launch the ‘Vodafone live! NAVI’ GPS navigation service on 15 October 2005, which enables customers to check their current location, search for surrounding area information and find the best routes to destinations.
Main features of the 903T
Supports Vodafone live! NAVI for network-assisted GPS navigation
