Chinese SmartDevices just announced their new SmartQ5, a MID (mobile internet device)- which according to some sources is loaded with the Android OS.
SmartQ5 has a touch screen of 4.3 inches with 800×480 pixels resolution, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivitiy, and support for various media formats.
Some other specs of SmartQ5 include Samsung processor running at to 667 MHz, 1GB of RAM, 2000mAh built-in Li-Ion battery.
What are we missing here? Yes – you guessed it. No 3G connection here, GPS receiver, or even a basic low megapixel camera. The other thing we should mention is that the manufacturer site never says this device is meant for Android platform. Check it out for yourself. Something’s fishy here.
