RAC Trackstar, a leading GPS based stolen vehicle tracking provider, launches its Category 5 stolen vehicle tracking system, RAC Trackstar 5.
The system automatically recognises the authorised driver of the vehicle by means of a Driver Authentication Device. This, together with the vehicle’s keys, enables the Trackstar 5 system to recognise the vehicle’s use as authorised.
This means that if an unauthorised person attempts to drive the vehicle, a silent alert is sent to our Secure Control Centre and the tracking activated.

The Control Centre will contact the customer, track the vehicle and liaise with the local police authorities to recover it.

This service actualy cover 31 european countries.
Suitable for Car, LCV, HGV, Plant, and Motor-Caravan vehicles, the system is fitted covertly by an independantly vetted and registered (VSIB Vehicle Systems Installation Board) installation engineer.
