The Magellan Roadmate 800, From the creators of Hertz NeverLost®, has a 3.5” anti-glare TFT color touch screen display which shows the mapping screen clearly day or night. To the right of the screen are the quick keypad buttons that give easy access to many of the main functions required, including Menu, View, Locate, Mute.
The Roadmate 800 is the first GPS to include a Music Player and Picture Viewer. The 20GB of internal memory has space assigned to the user for downloading music (MP3 or WMV) and for loading pictures to be viewed through the Picture Viewer. With the integrated battery, you can watch the pictures or play music anywhere you take your Roadmate 800 GPS.

GPS navigation is easy with your Magellan RoadMate 800. Use the simple menus with QuickSpell to enter an address on the touch screen, or find nearby gas stations, restaurants, ATMs and more by selecting from more than 6 million pre-programmed points of interest (POI).

The SmartDetour feature will automatically route around stopped freeway traffic. Plus, if you find yourself stopped in traffic on city streets you can easily route around the traffic jam by selecting Detour on the Options menu.

Enter several stops on a single trip and the Multi-destination Route Optimization feature will calculate and guide you on the quickest route between them, or in whichever order you choose.
