The Initial GD-70X Vehicle Navigation System is the ideal car set-up for the avid traveling family. Combining a GPS-based navigational system with a DVD/CD player and a 7-inch color LCD, the GD-70X not only keeps the adults on the right path, but it also keeps the kids entertained.
Complete US and Canada maps, as well as a map database with over 2 million points of interest (POI) are included on DVD for quick and convenient reference.
A built-in SD card slot gives you 250 MB of storage space for your map downloads. Plus, a GPS-based detour memory feature will keep you heading in the right direction, with voice-guided directions helping you make your way.
A day/night mode function and a touch-screen display make it easy to keep on track, as well. Staying on course doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice the entertainment of your kids. An integrated DVD player, with DVD/CD/JPEG/Kodak Picture CD playback and a built-in anti-shock system, gives you hours of playback options. The system features a seven-inch TFT color display for your movies, an FM transmitter, and an AV output/input that allows you to use portable players. Built-in stereo speakers fill the entire car with full sound, and a dual hi-fi stereo headphone output gives you the option of private listening through your headphones (sold separately).
