Beacon Wireless Solutions, leaders in wireless monitoring and fleet tracking, today announced that it is the first company to integrate fleet management solutions with Garmin’s StreetPilot in-car navigation products. Available immediately across Europe and North America, the Beacon Wireless/Garmin system will lead the way in integrated telematic solutions for tracking, monitoring and navigating fleets. The company will showcase its FleetMaster product with a link to the Garmin StreetPilot at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany.

"By integrating Garmin’s in-car navigation system with Beacon’s FleetMaster we’re revolutionizing the way fleets are managed today. Not only will customers be able to accurately track and manage their fleets, but they can now map routes and destinations directly to the vehicle’s in-car navigation system." said Peter Lash, Managing Director of Beacon Wireless Europe.

The key features of the FleetMaster with the Garmin StreetPilot in-car navigation link include:

"This new product will increase productivity and driver safety - dispatch can now seamlessly provide directions to the nearest vehicle within its fleet as new destinations arise. Drivers will no longer have to look at maps or make frequent calls to dispatch. This flow of information is critical to any company that has trucks or cars on the road," added Lash.
