Beacon Wirelss integrates Mobile Fleet Tracking with Garmin StreetPilot devices (CeBIT 2006)

Garmin extends its motorcycle lineup with Buell
Garmin announced that Buell Motorcycle will begin offering a new Garmin-built GPS navigation system as an accessory specifically designed for its 2006 Ulysses XB12X model.
Named the Buell Quest Portable Navigation System, the system provides premium road navigation capabilities – including automatic routing and turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions to addresses or points of interest like lodging, restaurants, and Buell dealers and service centers. Riders will enjoy the unit’s easy-to-use interface and easy-to-read high-resolution color display.
Garmin named exclusive GPS provider to BMW and MINI in UK
Garmin (Europe) today announced an agreement with BMW that makes Garmin the exclusive portable navigation supplier to the 308 BMW and BMW MINI automotive dealerships in the United Kingdom (UK). Starting in January 2006, these dealerships will offer customers the StreetPilot c310, StreetPilot c320, StreetPilot c330, and nuvi 350, in addition to product-related accessories and the GTM 11 traffic receiver.
Garmin to supply Enterprise Rent-A-Car with a customized StreetPilot c340 automotive navigator
Garmin’s portable automotive navigation units will be rolled out in January at 45 Enterprise airport locations across the United States. By the end of March, Garmin’s StreetPilot navigators will be available at Enterprise’s top 100 airport locations.
