Garmin forerunner 305 will be unveiled at Ces 2006

garmin-forerunner305.jpgGarmin seems set to reveal the new Forerunner 305 Gps model as reported on expositors page on Ces 2006 web site
The Forerunner 305 continuously monitors your heart rate, speed, distance, pace and calories burned so you can train smarter, more effectively.

The 305 looks much more like a real watch  and may even contain its antenna in the angled bottom half of the watch
As reported on Sportim Weblog,  "Garmin has started to use better GPS chip sets from SiRF and this facilitates smaller sized batteries and improved GPS signal reception to fit a watch sized GPS" and antenna area is supposed to be located in that smaller bended part with the Garmin name. This makes sense since you would like the antenna to face towards the sky while using it as a sport watch.
